Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about controller repair, stick drift, upgrades, and visiting from Cape Town or mailing from elsewhere. Contact us for anything specific.

Do you repair PS5 and Xbox controllers?

Yes. We focus on PlayStation (including PS5 DualSense) and Xbox pads—drift, triggers, bumpers, charging issues, Hall Effect and TMR upgrades, paddle mods, and more. Tell us your exact model when you book.

How much does stick drift repair cost?

Stock module replacement starts at R300 for one side and R400 for both sticks, subject to diagnostics. Hall Effect and TMR upgrades are listed separately on our pricing page. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect your controller.

What is a Hall Effect joystick upgrade?

Hall Effect sticks use magnetic sensing instead of wear-prone traces, which many players choose for long-term drift resistance. We install compatible modules and calibrate them for your controller.

Do you offer mail-in repair across South Africa?

Yes. You can ship your controller to us from anywhere in South Africa. We use the same intake and testing process as local drop-offs. Contact us for packing tips and timelines.

Where are you located for drop-off?

10 Hanepoot Crescent, Sonstraal, Durbanville, Western Cape—convenient for the northern Cape Town area. See our map on the homepage or open Google Maps from the contact section.

How fast is turnaround?

Many common repairs are completed within a few hours to a few business days, depending on parts and queue. We’ll give you a realistic window after diagnostics—not a generic promise.

Is there a warranty?

We stand behind workmanship and parts we fit—warranty terms are explained on your invoice for the specific service. Ask when you book if you want the details upfront.

Can you install back buttons or clicky triggers?

Yes, on supported controllers—paddle and back button mods and clicky trigger work are part of what we do. Compatibility varies by model; message us with your controller type.
