Check my DualSense board
Plug in your PS5 controller and identify the motherboard revision (BDM-010, 020, 030, 040, 050, and later). Remappers, shells, and trigger kits are board-specific—know yours before you order or book.

- Connect your DualSense (or DualSense Edge) with a USB data cable—not charge-only.

You can also identify the generation from the serial (or the tiny QR code on the back of the pad):
- Scan the QR code on the back with your phone camera, or find the serial printed nearby.
- Look at the second character of the serial.
- 1 → BDM-010, 2 → BDM-020, 3 → BDM-030, 4 → BDM-040, 5 → BDM-050.
Why the board matters
PS5 DualSense internals changed across revisions—trigger actuators, ribbon layouts, screw patterns, and MCU placement. Ordering a remapper or clicky-trigger kit for the wrong BDM wastes time and money. Use this page, then book a repair or mod with the board model in your message. After stick work, calibrate sticks on-site instead of using a competitor’s tool.
