Back button mods

Custom rear inputs for competitive play—currently focused on back button installs for PlayStation and Xbox controllers. Choose how many buttons you need; we wire, test, and return your pad ready for the next session. Book or message with your model.

Available for PS5 / DualSense and Xbox (including Elite-style layouts where supported).

Budget

R500

Two rear buttons—lean and affordable if you only need a couple of extra inputs (e.g. jump + build, or edit + interact).

Normal

R700

Four rear buttons—the usual paddle-style layout for builds that map jumps, edits, weapon swaps, and more without taking thumbs off the sticks.

Overkill

R900

Six rear buttons—maximum flexibility when you want every macro at your fingertips.

Pricing is for the mod labour and configuration described above—see also general pricing and how it works for booking and mail-in.

What this mod is for

Rear buttons let you keep thumbs on the sticks while triggering actions that would normally sit on the face buttons or D-pad. We route and secure the hardware, then bench-test inputs before return—same standard as our repair work.

  • Ideal for FPS and competitive titles where paddle inputs matter
  • Works with both PlayStation and Xbox controllers we support for this service
  • Unsure which tier fits? Message us with your game and grip style

Where your buttons can sit

Hand size, reach, and grip all change what feels right. This reference shows the kinds of rear positions we can use for buttons or paddles—higher, lower, or more to the side—so you can get a layout that matches how you play. We’ll help you pick what makes sense when you book.
